I love all kinds of adventures, whether big or small. But my all time favorite adventure was living in an RV with my husband, two kids, and our pup. We travelled around the U.S.A. for five years visiting quirky attractions, eating silly food, homeschooling and meeting the coolest and nicest people ever.

About the name WagginWendy . . . our RV was called the Waggin’ Wagon, compliments of our dog. I became WagginWagonWendy, and the name stuck!

I’m also a lawyer! I research legal issues and write briefs and pleadings that are filed in court. I love working as a lawyer because I get to help people solve all kinds of problems. I graduated from Duke University (go Blue Devils) and the University of Florida Law School (go Gators).

I’ve published short fiction, legal articles, news pieces on technology issues, and interviews with interesting people (everyone has an amazing story to share). I’ve written three middle grade novels, and am hoping that my newest one will be published!

I’m a member of SCBWI and an amazing SCBWI critique group. I have endless appreciation for writers who capture the beautiful spirit, priceless humor, and complex emotions of children, middle grade kids, and young adults.
